About Us
My passion is baking delicious treats without the fuss and worry of artificial ingredients and dyes. I always use organic ingredients and try to include as many local products as possible, when available. Growing up, I was lucky to have a mom who always had fresh homemade treats, and now I strive to do that with my granddaughter.The name, Wild Violet Baked Goods, came from the time when my granddaughter was born - when wild violets were blooming throughout the yard; her middle name is Violet; and as a typical toddler now, she can be a bit wild! My goal is to have you enjoy what baked goods are meant to be - delicious treats without chemical additives. Simple ingredients - with words that both children and adults can pronounce.I worked in the food and hotel industry throughout my career, including special events, restaurants and as a baker in a small cafe. After leaving the industry to care for my granddaughter, I am still able to enjoy baking as an independent baker. Most importantly, I enjoy teaching my granddaughter the love of baking, and the importance of fresh ingredients. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer!
